On Father's Day, June 15, 1997, someone decided to drink and drive, and four 19-year-old boys who were friends, were taken away from us, and we were left with a life sentence.
Mike, our son, was a typical 19 year old who enjoyed his short life to the fullest. Mike had an opportunity to experience university life for one year and looked forward to returning in the fall, after completing a summer job at Syncrude. He really enjoyed athletic activities, his favorite being hockey.
Mike, you were a loving son, excellent brother, and a good friend. You will be in our hearts forever. We miss your music Mike, your laughter and the joy you brought to our lives.
