Lisa and Gary were coming home to make supper for their three-year-old son Mathew. The driver of the van that hit them had been at a dinner at the local Legion hall and had been drinking.
The following message was provided by Lisa's loving mother, Bev Northeast.
Lisa and Gary were cheated out of life and of raising their son. Mathew was cheated out of being raised by loving parents who had dreams for their son.
Lisa's three sisters were cheated out of having the opportunity to share in life with Lisa. And as Lisa's Mom I will never see Lisa's smile again, hug her again, say "I love you" and hear her say "I love you."
My loving, beautiful daughter - so full of life - has been taken from us and we will live with this pain of loss every day of our lives. We have all been cheated from living a normal life. Lisa and Gary's dreams for Mathew's future and theirs will never be.
