One decision changed not only my brother's life, but all of ours with one 3:20am phone call.

James decided to get in the car with a friend he had been drinking with.  They made it 3 blocks from the bar in Windsor.  He spent 10 weeks in hospital.  His life has changed forever.  With the multiple facial fractures and lesions, means he won't look the same.  The brain injury and medications are his life sentence.  James is legally blind with total blindness to come later in life - all this instead of a $5.00 cab ride. His "friend" got 4 stitches and 12 months house arrest.  The memories are my driving force to help others make the right decision, through MADD Canada chapters.
