Amanda Patricia Hale   Age: 20 Date of Crash: September 21, 2001 Home City: Wallaceburg Amanda was a 2nd year music/teaching major at Spring Arbor University. She was returning to her dorm from the nearby city of Jackson. Just minutes from her room, a drunk driver traveling in the opposite direction at an excessive speed, veered off the road to his right, then pulled back on, causing his car to go into a spin and crashing into Amanda. Amanda is the only child of Irving and Glenda Hale. Shattered lives and dreams, but their love for her can never be shattered. Amanda was a vibrant young woman who loved life. She passionately cared for her family and friends who remember her as being a great encourager to all. Amanda had the gift to be a friend to all she met. Amanda’s greatest dream was to teach High School students about the God she loved and served. This was to be done through her musical talents.
