Amanda Patricia Hale

Age: 20
Date of Crash: September 21, 2001
Home City: Wallaceburg

Amanda was a 2nd year music/teaching major at Spring Arbor University. She was returning to her dorm from the nearby city of Jackson. Just minutes from her room, a drunk driver traveling in the opposite direction at an excessive speed, veered off the road to his right, then pulled back on, causing his car to go into a spin and crashing into Amanda. The point of impact was on Amanda’s door. She never regained consciousness.

Amanda is the only child of Irving and Glenda Hale. Shattered lives and dreams, but their love for her can never be shattered.

Amanda was a vibrant young woman who loved life. She passionately cared for her family and friends who remember her as being a great encourager to all. Amanda had the gift to be a friend to all she met. Amanda’s greatest dream was to teach High School students about the God she loved and served. This was to be done through her musical talents.
