MADD MONTREAL LAUNCHES 2008 PROJECT RED RIBBON CAMPAIGN ON MONDAY
MADD Montreal urges Quebec motorists to drive sober through holidays
MONTREAL, QUEBEC, MEDIA ADVISORY--(Marketwire - Oct. 31, 2008) - This Monday morning, MADD Montreal will launch its 2008 Project Red Ribbon campaign to honour victims, raise awareness of the consequences of impaired driving, and communicate easy solutions for safe transportation. The campaign also provides an opportunity to raise funds for MADD Montreal's programs and services.
** Andrew Murie, CEO of MADD Canada is a keynote speaker at the launch. He will give an illustrated talk on new trends in the technology of passive alcohol sensors and ignition interlocks entitled "Can Technological Advances be the Vaccine to End Impaired Driving?"
Yvan Delorme, Director of Police Services, Ville de Montréal, and Nicolas Bellier of Allstate Insurance Company of Canada, the Title Sponsor of the national Project Red Ribbon campaign, will also be speaking. Elected officials and other members of the community are invited to attend.
MADD representatives will be available for media interviews following the launch.
